Isnt’t it nice when something happens which is a perfect illustration of something you’ve just blogged? Following on from my post the other day about the importance of language for librarians, I had a reference question about Japanese textbooks today. Being a rather over-eager librarian, I did an enormous amount of research last year before settling on the texts that I’m using to learn the language. So when asked to identify intermediate Kanji workbooks in the catalogue, no problem!

On a related note, I picked up Kodashana’s Furigana Japanese-English dictionary for $12 yesterday. Hooray!
