There have been some fascinating papers today weaving together political science, linguistic and socio-cultural theories with the emerging discourse on blogs. I’ve taken many many pages of notes so far which I’ll type up and elaborate on here soon. One thought I did have, since there has been a lot of emphasis on the place of blogging alongside other aspects of community and democracy in history is how this is really in some ways a cyclical revolution bringing us closer to the form of democracy and citizen participation that the Greeks invented a very long time ago.
