I often have to demonstrate how to do something with computers, whether that’s showing someone how to change their print settings, paragraph formatting, right up to database searches and more complex tasks. Often I will show someone the steps, and then write them out for the person to remember. eg -

Grant McLennan, Go-Betweens frontman, 48, died Saturday. Karen is on the library songs list. I saw the Go-Betweens about 4 or 5 times in the past few years and will miss this band dearly.

I signed up for Second Life. Take a look at the list of available names. It seems as though someone drew their inspiration from the NSW CityRail network - names include Kiama, Thirroul, Fairymeadow, Wollongong etc. Amusingly, I was able to sign up with my real life first name and last name.
