Nintendo

I bought a Nintendo DS Lite yesterday. It’s the first console I’ve owned since the original Game Boy and the mid-90s Sega MegaDrive.

Why, you ask? I’ve been thinking that I needed a fun outlet while I’m commuting to work each day (1.5 hours each way by public transport, I don’t drive). Usually I read (generally non-fiction), I drag out French and Japanese textbooks, and now and then read the Financial Review to keep up with issues in my subject area for work. Not a lot of fun all up.

So Nintendo it is. Due to stock issues here in Australia, it took me a while to find a shop that actually had one (I would have purchased in Tokyo, except they were out of stock of all the pretty coloured consoles) and I couldn’t find Mario Bros. anywhere so I am starting out with Brain Training and Nintendogs.

    Hi everyone.
With the launch of the Nintendo Wii just around the corner, will you purchase one?
If so, what are you most looking forward to about the system?
